"This is an honest and knowledgeable plumbing company run by father and his son. They replaced a water heater in my rental unit on home warranty plan.A few days later they replaced my home's water heater that had started to leak with a new one (A O Smith brand). They did an excellent job answering my questions and were quite helpful with their advice to keep the costs down to bare min while correcting any code deficiencies due to the old age of the water heater system( missing gas trap). My neighbor across the street went to Home Depot and got their water heater similar in size but a different brand(Rheem model) replaced by a Home Depot referral company called Fast and ...something Plumbing. These guys showed up with the wrong water heater size and ended up charging her for extra work such as water expansion tank and double flue for their vent etc. because they told her it was required by the new plumbing codes. I work in construction business so I called around and guess what water expansion tanks is only required for tankless water heaters and not for regular water heaters. They charged her an extra $900.00 for bogus work that was not even required nor needed. In comparison, Hurst Plumbing charged me exactly what they quoted. Choose Hurst Plumbing if you do not have extra money to throw away at other unscrupulous plumbing contractors."
