About Stanton / Meramec KOA Journey

This KOA may be relatively small-9 rural, woodsy acres-but it's big on friendly service. Whether you are traveling Route 66, a snowbird following the seasons or just getting away from it all, this country campground is the perfect place to stay. Our Cricket Cafe serves delicious southern Missouri barbecue and pizza 4 - 7 p.m. daily (April 1 - November 1). Eat in or carry out to your Pull-Thru RV Site, Deluxe Cabin, Cabin or Tent Site. Take a dip in the pool or play a game of pool in the game room. Several community fire pits are provided for your use - and for making new friends. This KOA is close to Meramec Caverns, the Cave Man Zip Line, Onondaga Cave, and horseback riding. Head for Six Flags St. Louis (35 miles) or check out the attractions St. Louis has to offer (60 miles). Spend a day on the wine trail and visit tasting rooms at local wineries.
