"Larry Franciscus of T & L Home Improvement has been our go-to contractor for nearly five years. The first job he did for us was replacing the roof of one of our rental properties. We were so pleased with the result that when some months later a hailstorm damaged the roofs of our other rentals, along with that of our own home, we had Larry replace those as well. But his expertise doesn't stop at roofing. Larry and his crew have done electrical work, put up siding, built a deck, replaced windows, etc. The list goes on, as each new need arises. When another storm wreaked havoc on our basement, flooding it from wall to wall, Larry was instrumental in helping us plan the layout for a new basement. It was a massive job, with old walls coming down and new walls going up. Flooring, lighting, painting--the whole place was turned inside out. Thanks to T & L, our basement is now an inviting living space at one end and an efficient utility room at the other. This is a tremendous improvement over how it used to be, even compared to how it was before the flood. It doesn't hurt that Larry and Laurie (his partner at T & L) are so personable, and so willing to work within our budget. We can count on them to keep our costs down, but never at the expense of having the job done right. I was having a situation in my own backyard where the pavers were not being placed properly. Ed stepped in and redesigned it, brought in a new crew, finished the job on time and within budget. Later he saw that my driveway was in need of repair. We discussed options. I approved of his plan and estimated cost. Again, not only did he finish the job on time and within budget but his plan turned out great. In short, I would have no problem working with him again and I can recommend him highly."
