After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), Dr. Serrano completed his surgical residency at Weill Cornell Medicine Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. There he served as the chief surgical resident two years in a row. Dedicated to providing the best care possible, Dr. Serrano attends annual continuing education training sessions to broaden his surgical skills and knowledge.
Precision Surgery and Advanced Vein Therapy is a state-of-the-art surgical practice with an on-site surgical suite. Dr. Serrano performs many in-office procedures, including removal of cysts and lipomas, as well as chemical ablation, radiofrequency ablations, and phlebectomy procedures for varicose veins. Dr. Serrano runs a bilingual clinic, so he and his staff speak fluent Spanish. Arabic translation is also available.
Dr. Serrano is also a pioneer of minimally invasive procedures and uses the most advanced techniques, including single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS), laparoscopy, and robotic surgery to perform gallbladder surgery, thyroid surgery, and hernia repair. At Precision Surgery and Advanced Vein Therapy, Dr. Serrano also excels at breast surgery, specifically breast conservation surgery.
