Kian Javid, DC, is an experienced and attentive chiropractor serving the South Bay community in El Segundo, California. At South Bay Wellness Center, Dr. Javid and his friendly staff treat every patient like a family member. They create a relaxing and soothing environment to enhance everyone's health and happiness.
A lifelong athlete himself, Dr. Javid grew up running, swimming, and participating in a variety of sports. He has a deep knowledge of and personal experience with the injuries that often result from sports, work, and everyday stress.
After benefitting personally from physical rehabilitation and chiropractic sports medicine, Dr. Javid knew he wanted to help other people reach the same level of health. He studied at Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles, where he earned an associate degree and bachelor's degree before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic from the same school.
Dr. Javid is trained in a variety of effective techniques, including the Activator Release Techniques (ART), the Graston Technique, the Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), the Cox flexion distraction technique, spinal decompression therapy, manual therapy, low-level laser therapy, and trigger point therapy.
He provides relief from all types of painful conditions, including temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain, headaches, back pain, sciatica, neck pain, and sports injuries. He also helps patients with personal injury claims.
