About Mosaic Brain Health: Michelle Mottern, PMHNP, FNP

Mosaic Brain Health offers high-quality care to adults and older children living and working in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the surrounding areas. Led by Michelle Mottern, PMHNP, FNP, an experienced psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, the team listens to patients, cares about what they say, and always puts them first.

The team treats most mental health problems, including anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression and other mood disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). At Mosaic Brain Health, the emphasis is on destigmatizing mental health and understanding that it's brain health.

Patients undergo a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation performed with compassion. The holistic approach of the practice examines patients' lifestyles, medical history, and environment to provide the most effective treatments.

Services at Mosaic Brain Health include psychopharmacology (where medications are appropriate) and psychotherapy. Therapy sessions combine motivational and cognitive approaches, with treatment programs often including journaling, supportive apps, and dream or nightmare analysis.

Suboxone treatment is available for patients with substance use disorder, and Michelle will be providing ketamine infusions for treatment-resistant depression.
