About Mark Schumacher, MD

Mark P. Schumacher, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN and medical aesthetics specialist who provides women of all ages with excellent care at his practice in Reno, Nevada. With over 40 years' experience in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Schumacher has expertise in the full spectrum of women's health needs.
With a firm belief that optimal health is achieved through a trusting doctor-patient relationship, Dr. Schumacher listens attentively to the needs of every patient. He takes an integrative approach to medicine and strives to exceed expectations by offering professional, compassionate care.
Dr. Schumacher's path toward medicine began at the University of Nevada-Reno, followed by the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, where he graduated with his medical degree. He then went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Balboa Naval Hospital of San Diego.
Throughout his decades of medical practice, Dr. Schumacher has gained expertise in a vast array of gynecological services. His specialties include treatment of menopause symptoms, infertility, and urinary stress incontinence.
