About Jeffrey Haasbeek, MD, FRCSC

Jeffery Haasbeek, MD, FRCSC an orthopedic surgeon in Canton, NY, specializes in hand surgery and pediatric orthopedic surgery. Dr. Haasbeek completed fellowships at Vanderbilt University, University of Toronto and University of Calgary, and is certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Haasbeek works with patients of all ages, including children. His main goal is to reduce pain in his patients. As a pediatric orthopedic, he treats young athletes that are experiencing minor injuries or pain in various parts of the body, with particular attention to the hands and wrists. Surgery is not always the best option for treatment, and Dr. Haasbeek's team works very hard to provide patients with alternative forms of treatment for their pain and discomfort. Working in a small community is one of the many reason that Dr. Haasbeek loves Canton-Potsdam Hospital because he is able to form relationships and rapport with his patients, who he often sees outside of the hospital in every day situations. Dr. Haasbeek also sees patients at Gouverneur Hospital.
