About Central Island Healthcare

We are a premiere 202 bed, sub acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing center. We are located in Plainview, NY - conveniently situated just minutes from the Northern State Parkway and the Long Island Expressway, just off the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway.

Central Island Healthcare acquired new management in 2005, and has undergone extensive renovations that have enhanced our ability to serve our patients and their families. We are proud to offer the incorporation of exceptional high level care together with a beautiful home-inspired setting. We take pride in our reputation as a leader in rehabilitation and sub cute care, and are looking forward to setting new standards in rehabilitation excellence. Our dedicated short term rehabilitation unit offers residents the specialized care they need in order to maximize their potential and return home.
