Its activities are limited primarily to holding the common shares of the Home Loan Savings Bank, a savings and loan association. In 2005, the company had more than $160 million in assets. The bank has full-service branch offices in Coshocton, Mount Vernon and West Lafayette, Ohio. Its principal business is the origination of permanent mortgage loans secured by first mortgages on one- to four-family residential real estate located in Coshocton County, Ohio, the bank's primary market area. The bank also originates a limited number of construction loans for one- to four-family residences and permanent mortgage loans secured by multifamily and nonresidential real estate.
