About Alive Integrative Medicine

Our mission is to provide high quality, patient-centered health care using thoughtful, evidence-based integrative medicine. Integrative medicine is healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and makes use of all appropriate therapies, both conventional and alternative. At Alive Integrative Medicine, we strive to meet the needs of our patients by providing a safe, respectful and nurturing environment. Inherent in our mission, it is our commitment to provide quality, patient-centered health care so we may have a positive impact on the lives of our patients, their families and ultimately our community.

As healers and healthcare providers, we understand the pain and suffering experienced by being perceived and treated as the "other" - personally and systemically through explicit and implicit racism, sexism, homophobia, and classism. Our work strives to encourage a world that is just and compassionate, one that honors difference and praises authentic connection between people.
